More moves, easier moves

More moves, easier moves

Shearing time was always a big deal on my grandparents’ farm and bringing the numerous mobs of sheep from their far-flung paddocks to the shearing shed was a many day affair.

They were only moved occasionally so they tended to panic when confronted with a pack of excitable dogs and kids on motorbikes with horns blaring. Our trick was to get them circling near the gate and force the lead to run through before they had any second thoughts. Success!

Lots of fun but lots of work.

Now that we move ours animals daily (or even more) there is no panic. They expect (and demand) to be moved. Open the gate and through they go.
