We practice and preach low stress stock handling for obvious reasons - a relaxed animal is healthier, happier and safer. Sometimes however, the situation calls for something a bit more vigorous.
A broken fence wth rain falling and a few hundred cattle heading the wrong way is such a time. It is a time for panic! Horns blaring, dogs barking, do what you can to turn them around!
You should avoid it whenever possible but there is no denying that it is a lot more fun.
