If you wake up early enough, things are feeling decidedly wintry around here.
I am always amazed at the resilience of the animals who never seem concerned by the freezing temperatures. It makes sense of course - grazing animals have been doing their thing in intrepid weather for as long as there has been grass - but as I think of my own children's cries when they lose the doona during the night I am filled with admiration all the same.
